SGS, the world's largest international certifying authority, is hosting the "SGS 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony and Industry Exchange Forum" on October 30, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan, to honor outstanding corporate partners in a variety of fields. SUNON was invited to receive the QMS Operation Process Management of SGS ISO Plus Awards, and Simon Wu, Executive Vice General Manager of Sunonwealth, received the award on behalf of the company.

SGS, the world leader in testing, verification, and inspection services, is dedicated to rewarding excellent business partners. This year's "Industry Exchange Forum" is organized with a twin concept of "sustainability x digitalization" transformation, as well as an emphasis on exchanging sustainable innovation to boost industrial development and improve overall competitiveness through the seminar.
SUNON is devoted to developing quality standards and methods that will ensure that clients receive high-quality services and products. Looking ahead, SUNON will continue to improve customer satisfaction by becoming the most trusted, high-quality representative in customers' hearts. We then encourage consumers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to use SUNON's products that promote "sustainability and product safety culture awareness" in all aspects of life in order to achieve sustainable and successful growth.
Every year, on the last/penultimate Saturday of March, SUNON joins more than 192 countries around the world to respond to Earth Hour and turn off the lights for one hour, taking action together to support this global voluntary public welfare carbon reduction action. Under the increasingly serious global climate change, everyone, regardless of race, creed, or age, has obligations and responsibilities to support the response with practical actions. Taking public transportation, choosing environmentally friendly and energy-saving appliances, using renewable energy, turning off unnecessary power sources, etc. are all good ways to reduce carbon emissions. Let us do our part for the earth and move forward together towards a sustainable and shared vision to achieve the ultimate goal of net-zero carbon emissions.

By 2023, 192 countries and more than 18,000 city and towns and thousands of famous landmarks have turned off their lights, taking action for the cause. This year on March 23rd, SUNON staff and their family members in Kaohsiung headquarters, overseas branches, offices, and production bases will be ‘Lights Out’ that night from 20:30 pm to 21:30 pm, switching off all non-essential lights, in support of the initiative. Please get ready to join us and with the millions of other people around the world who are fighting to save our planet and homes.
